educational goat
related programs
for all,
including
breeders,
dairymen,
hobbyists, and
youth.
Membership
includes a
bi-monthly issue
of the
award-winning GoatNews
Newsletter
featuring
information on
goat health and
management, 4-H
Youth Programs,
Goat Shows, and other
goat industry
topics.
MDGS also sponsors Spring Goat
Day held at the Michigan
State University, featuring
educational programs,
interesting guest speakers
on goat management,
evaluation, showing & fitting, goat products, and
more. |

In addition, MDGS supports
the bi-annual 4-H workshops
held at the Kettenun Center
in Tustin, Michigan, and, a
promotional booth in the
Goat Barn during the
Michigan State Fair.
