All entries
become the
property of the
MDGS and will be
published in the
GOAT NEWS.
Only one entry
per person per
category, except
for the youth
category which
may have two
entries per
person. Youth
entries are for
ages 19 and
younger, age
determined by
age as of Dec.
31, of the
current year.
Entries must
include a copy
of the recipe,
along with name,
address, and
phone number.
Entries in the
Professional
soap division do
not include the
recipe; instead
submit an
advertisement.
Entries must be
in place at MSU
by 10:00am.
Food entries
will be judged
on sensory
appeal (taste,
texture, smell,
visual),
presentation,
recipe, use of
goat product.
Soap entries
will be judged
on recipe (ad
copy for
professional
division),
sensory
(texture, smell,
visual appeal),
presentation,
use of goat
product.
Amateur entrants
must not have
sold soap for
money to
qualify.
