This show is sanctioned by ADGA and their rules shall govern.

The show is sanctioned for the following breeds: LaMancha,
Nigerian Dwarfs, Saanen, Toggenburgs, AOP, Recorded Grades and
Alpines. This Shall be the order of the show. Show order is
subject to change at the discretion of the show committee.
The senior doe
and junior doe shows are NOT separately sanctioned.

There is no entry fee for the youth show.

The base date of the show is
June 14, 2008,
the first day of the show.

The original registration certificate is required for all
animals six months of age or older. Animals under six months of
age may be shown under stamped duplicate applications. This
must be shown to the show secretary before the start of the
show. All animals over six months of age that are entered in
the show must have their complete information, i.e. class
number, name of animal, registration number, breed, tattoo,
listed on the entry blank when sent in.

To enter in the youth show the registration papers must state
the youth’s name. Registrations that show a family name or “and
Family” are not accepted. This show is open to Youth up to age
21 on the date of the show. Proof of age may be required.

All animals from out of state are required to have an
interstate health certificate. Please be aware of the scrapie
regulations.

All animals
entering the show grounds will be subject to a health
examination prior to the start of the show each day. Any
animal exhibiting signs of a possible contagious disease will be
barred from the show. The remaining animals the were
transported with the suspect animal could also be banned if the
health and well being of the other animals would be
jeopardized. If there is a dispute regarding health check, a
check by a veterinarian, at the owner’s expense, will make the
final decision.

Any exhibitor
not acting in an
honorable manor will be asked to leave the
fairgrounds and will forfeit his right at this show.

Judging will start at 8:00 am.
All animals must be in place
and checked in prior to this time.

No horned animals will allowed

Bucks are not allowed in the barn. If you bring a buck, it must
be kept trailered.

There will be no pre-show milkout.

Any dogs must be leashed and may be asked to leave at the
discretion of the show committee. The show committee consists of
the MDGS Board of Directors. .

Michigan Dairy Goat Society and the Ionia County Fair Board,
nor any individual associated with this show will be held
responsible for loss, damage, or accident to any person, animal,
or property. All animals entered at the owners own risk.
Entry forms must be signed by
the youth and the parent or guardian in order to show.
